Noise Timer

A sleep timer for Android that creates real generated soothing noise.

I’d had a noise app on Google Play for a couple of years which we use every night to get our daughter to sleep. That app included some experimental particle animations and wasn’t really suitable for wider consumer use, Noise Timer takes that audio generation and packages it together with a more friendly user interface.

• Remove the overflow icon (the 3 dots), there was going to be an about menu, but it’s redundant
• Fade in noise on startup. There’s a nice fade out already when the timer ends, but startup could be smoother
• Remember frequency slider value, everyone has a favourite frequency setting but it’s forgotten every time the app starts
